When will I receive my order?

Your order confirmation email will include an estimated shipment date(s) based on the delivery method selected when the order was placed. 'Business days' are defined as Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.

What is Darbie Angell’s return policy?

We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase but understand that sometimes an item needs to be returned.  No problem - we are here to help! 

An order can be returned from within 30 Days of placing the order, but you are required to pay shipping to return the order.

Please note: shipping fees are non-refundable.

As soon as the items are received by Darbie Angell your refund will be issued.

How many promo codes can I use when I place my order?

You can use one (1) promo code per order.

Here is how to redeem your promo code at checkout:

Never place gold- or platinum china in a microwave

Tarnish (discoloration) can be caused in many ways: hard water with a high iron and/or manganese content, rust in interior plumbing or dishwasher parts, or contact with chemicals or chemical fume.

When washing china in the dishwasher, use a mild liquid or powder detergent. Load china securely on racks so the pieces do not touch, so they won't be disconnected in the wash cycle.

Glassware

Wash crystal with a mild dish detergent before use.

Crystal isn't just for fancy parties –it is durable and can be used for ages if handled with care.

Always wash crystal by hand, using a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Avoid scrubbing. Rinse with warm water, and pat dry with a cloth.

Tip: To have crystal that keeps the "glittery" sparkle forever, add some vinegar to the water when hand washing

Flatware

Stainless is high-quality, maintenance-free and long lasting material.  Its easy and stain-resistant material is the perfect reason for this addition in your kitchen.  

Wash stainless flatware shortly after each use. Avoid prolonged soaking.

Stainless is dishwasher-safe; use a mild detergent to avoid spotting.

How do you create a gift registry?
Click the "Add to Registry" button on any product detail page.  You will be prompted to enter your name, email, and password. We make the signup process easy, as we know you are eager to get started adding items. You can always return later to personalize your registry or update event details.

 

How do you add products to your gift registry?
It’s easy! Just click the "Add to Registry" button on any product detail page. You can then specify such information as quantity, color, and size desired before adding the item to the gift list. 

 

How are gift purchases updated on a registry?
Purchases are updated by the gift buyer after they complete the checkout process.

 

Assisting Gift Buyers

 

How do gift buyers make an online purchase from my registry? 
Your online gift registry is accessible from any desktop computer or mobile device (software is compatible with Androids and iPhones). To find it, gift buyers should visit darbieangell.com website and then click the "Registry" or "Gift Registry" link. This will bring them to your gift registry home page, where they will see "Find a Registry." They should enter your first and last name to bring up matching results. Once they find the correct registry, they can click the link to view and shop from it. The checkout process is the same as any other transaction on site.

 

When ordering online, applicable sales tax will be applied when shipping to states in which it is required by law to do so.

1. A payment authorization for the outstanding amount of your purchase will be held during the full plan period as security. This hold will be charged ONLY in the event a monthly payment is declined (the authorization hold might appear as "Pending" on your credit card bill).

2. You must maintain a sufficient "Required Available Credit" amount on your credit card for both the full outstanding amount of your purchase and the monthly payment during the entire period of the plan.

3. Your credit card issuer may charge you interest on amounts charged to your credit card unless you pay your credit card balance in full each month.

4. In case we do not manage to reauthorize the remaining amount of the transaction, you will receive a notification email. In such cases, you will be required to promptly update your credit card details. In the event your bank still refuses to reauthorize the outstanding amount, we will charge the full outstanding amount of the transaction from your credit card.

How does Splitit work?

Splitit offers you a flexible way of paying for purchases in installments, completely interest-free, by reserving the available line of credit on your credit card. Then, each month, according to your payment plan, Splitit collects the installment amount and reissues the authorization request for the remaining balance.

It is important to note that payments are charged on your existing credit card. Here is an example of how the service works for a customer buying a $1,800 order in 3 installments of $600 each:

Splitit obtains authorization from the credit card company for the full purchase amount of $1,800. This is not a charge on the card -  it is simply reserving $1,800 from the customer’s line of credit.
- The credit card company then charges the customer $600 for the first payment.
- During the second month, Splitit requests authorization for the outstanding purchase amount of $1,200, and charges the customer the second installment of $600.
- This authorization and charge process continues until the full $1,800 is collected–in this case, for 3 months.

 

Are there any extra fees involved?

No, this is an interest-free payment method with no additional fixed fees, service fees, interest or hidden fees of any kind.

 

Will I only receive my item after the final payment has been made?

No, your item will be processed after the first initial installment and delivered as normal upon passing our Quality Control check at Head Office.

 

Am I eligible to use Splitit?

- You can pay using Splitit with a valid Mastercard or Visa credit card.
- Your credit card must have available credit of at least the full amount of the purchase.

 

What happens to my credit score if I use Splitit?

Nothing! No credit check is required if you use a Splitit installment plan and thus there is no impact on your credit score. If one of your payment authorizations is declined, there is still no effect on your credit rating as it is simply a declined charge. The denial would only accelerate payment of the remaining balance (unless you provide a different card which was not denied).

 

Which credit cards does Splitit support?

You can pay using Splitit with a Mastercard or Visa credit card. Debit cards, American Express and pre-paid cards are not accepted.

 

How will the payment installments appear on my credit card statement?

The installments appear on your statement as individual charge items with the name of 'Vestiaire Collective'. These payments will appear monthly according to your installment plan, with the same charge amount each time.
