Tips for Moving Forward with your Dreams

It’s tough to juggle responsibilities AND move goals forward. When I get stuck, I rely on these ways to push pause for a few seconds – and now I’ll share them with you!
  1. Keep lists of amazing people, opportunities & successes 
  2. Sing your favorite song at the top of your lungs while driving in the car
  3. Take a walk and do nothing but listen to the breeze.  It is therapeutic
  4. Hang out with people that are like minded and are pushing hard to make their fairytale come true
  5. Eat a cookie. Eat another. Eat three, if that’s what it takes
  6. Ask for feedback from people you admire and respect
  7. Write. write. write. 
  8. Don’t freak out if you make a mistake – sometimes the unplanned works out much better than the original intention
  9. Try new things. 
  10. Every evening, recount the best things that happened to you that day
  11. Work hard. Eat, sleep, and play well
  12. Be a risk-taker. Baby steps are okay
  13. Do at least one thing that makes you happy every day
  14. Get to work or go outside, but commit to something
  15. Shoot for excellence
  16. Make lists of all your ideas – good, bad, impractical, silly
  17. Clean up/organize something – anything!
  18. Overwhelmed? Get back on track by focusing on one item you need to do – and complete it
  19. Call a friend who will make you laugh!
  20. COFFEE 
  21. When all else fails: Talk it out with your dog – or your best friend, or your Mom, whichever will listen!
