Time to get it poppin’ — with confetti! Confetti poppers are a great addition to any celebration, and will add a bit of excitement to the air. You don’t have to spend an arm and a leg on purchasing them either! With just a few minutes of your time and using items from around the house, you can make your own confetti poppers on a budget. Who doesn’t love that?!
Personal Creations created this great step-by-step guide on how to make DIY confetti poppers that add the perfect pop to your next event. They’ve also made some adorable printable labels for weddings, NYE, birthdays and gender reveals! You can make a popper for each of your guests, or use them as a fun DIY prop in your photobooth. If you want to use them for a wedding, they’re perfect for walking down the aisle or as part of your send-off at the end of the reception.
Knot your balloon, then cut off the tip. Stretch the balloon tightly around your toilet paper tube and secure with a piece of packing tape.
Cut out your printable label and secure with tape around the tube. Add additional glitter or stickers if desired.
To DIY your own confetti, take your fringe scissors and cut your metallic tissue paper and any additional paper you prefer to be made into confetti. We suggest making 3 tablespoons of confetti per tube.
Add the confetti to the tube. You may need to use a rolled piece of paper as a funnel to guide your confetti into the tube.
Cover the top of the confetti popper with a thin layer of tissue paper and tape. Then instruct guests to take off right before popping.
To launch your confetti popper, pull down on the bottom knot of the balloon and let go. The confetti should shoot up in the air with a pop!
