It's Crock Pot Season- aka my favorite season!!
BRING ON THE COOL WEATHER!!! I am a bigggg fan of fall for so many reasons! But one of these reasons is crock pot meals! Not only am I a fan but so are my girls and so it is a major win for the whole house!!!!
I have a few of my favorite meals I always cook in the crock pot, but I found this new one and I am LOVING it!! A new recipe means another excuse to use the crock pot for the third night in a row?! YES PLEASE!!
This is a Spaghetti Crock Pot Recipe.... doesn't that just make your mouth water just reading that?! It did for me!!!! And let me tell you.... it is just as good as it sounds I promise!!
Okay so here is your next family meal recipe...
Freshly ground black pepper
Red pepper flakes
1 c. low-sodium chicken broth
3/4 lb. spaghetti
Grated Parmesan, for garnish
Freshly chopped parsley, for garnish
- Make meatballs: In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan, parsley, egg, salt, and crushed red pepper flakes. Form into 16 meatballs and place in the bottom of a Crock Pot.
- In another large bowl, mix together crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, onion, oregano, and garlic. Season with salt, pepper and a pinch of red pepper flakes. Pour sauce over meatballs. Cover Crock Pot with lid and cook on high for 3 hours or on low for 6, until meatballs are cooked through.
- During the last hour of cooking add chicken broth and spaghetti to Crock Pot, breaking noodles in half to fit. Replace lid and continue cooking for the remaining hour.
- Garnish with Parmesan and parlsey before serving.
This made making spaghetti for the family that much easier!!! I am so glad that I found this recipe and it was even greater when my girls were already asking when they were going to get to have it again!!
