2 Ingredient (Healthy) Caramel Apple Dip

Caramel apples are a Fall favorite in my home. Maybe it's my sweet tooth (TOTALLY guilty!), but it's also such a fun activity to do with the girls!!

Traditional caramel sauce is extremely sticky and gets its gooey texture from ingredients like heavy cream, sugar, corn syrup, and butter— not the best ingredients I want to serve my kids.

The good news!! I recently found this amazing recipe from Caitlin Shoemaker of From My Bowl for a yummy caramel sauce that will keep this autumn treat a staple in our home. The best part? The only ingredients you need are NUT BUTTER and MAPLE SYRUP! What?!

 

 

Just pour a Tbsp of pure maple syrup into a bowl. Then, add in 1 to 2 Tbsps of no-sugar-added natural nut butter and mix everything together until it forms a nice silky caramel.

Once your sauce is done, just cut up your favorite apple variety and get to dippin’. It’s as easy as that!!
